Welcome to the RCS Buildings and Grounds Department's web site. Our department oversees our custodial, maintenance, grounds, delivery, and warehouse operations. The Buildings and Grounds Department and its staff are committed to providing safe, healthy and functional learning environments. Our departmental staff contains custodians, maintenance staff, ground staff, mail delivery staff and administrative support. The district is 85 square miles with 267 acres of school property. It consists of six elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school as well as an engineering and technology center. We have an administration building, a transportation facility and a warehouse building. We maintain 929,599 square feet of building space, which serve 5,736 students.

Our buildings are in use from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. We accommodate a wide range of users including our K-12 students, Adult Education, Parks and Recreation programs, as well as our local community members.
